Step 1: Each drive or backup media is scanned and its serial number meticulously recorded.

Step 2: We initiate on-site shredding at your premises, allowing you to oversee the entire procedure.

Step 3: Post-destruction, you’re handed a Certificate of Destruction detailing the serial numbers of each destroyed item so you have a record of what was destroyed and proof of your legal compliance.

Step 4: The remains are forwarded to a responsible, local recycler, where the materials are separated so they can start a new life as sustainable products.

Our Hard Drive Shredding Process

  1. We scan and record the serial number of each drive/backup media.
  2. We shred each item on-site at your location, while you watch.
  3. You receive a Certificate of Destruction listing the serial numbers of each item shredded.
  4. We take the pieces to a trusted, local recycler to be made into new, earth-friendly products.
